Determining the necessary suspension?

I guess it would be ideal if there were some calculator that took your model base weight, additional weight (modifications/addons), intended tire size and application and said these models from these manufacturers will work...

Since I can't find that, I'm asking here in order to figure out what I need vs what would be nice, but is overkill.

In looking at upgrading from my current setup (2004, currently running a sonoran steel lift kit, which is bilstein 5100’s with TRD coils in front and radflow coils in back) I'm trying to figure out what is 'good enough' for my needs.

I'm attempting to continue compensating for all the weight on the vehicle (which seems to keep growing), as well as deal with my intended upgrade from 285/70r17 to 35s.

So when I look at something like the Icon 58745C it looks great, and I think it would work, but do I actually need that?

Would something sort of half way, like these Fox shocks meet my needs?

How can I figure out what my requirements actually are in terms of needed suspension (and coil rates)?

I've really only been looking at Fox and Icon (King doesn't seem to have anything for my model), but are there other options I should consider?

Are there questions I should be asking that I'm not?

Thanks.

How about telling us what year truck you're working with.
Looking at your pic on my phone it kinda looks like a Hyundai Santa Fe.
And what's your budget?

2004 v6-sorry, I should have made it more clear though I did mention the year in my post.

Budget? Don't have one specifically. If it's going to run 3k+ (as it seems it might) I'll probably wait for black Friday sales or the like. I'm not in a rush, just want to do it right.
