Did I get a good deal? 4x4,5spd

Hey guys, I wanted to see what you guys think of the deal I got,
its a 97 4runner 4x4 5 speed manual, 3.4 v6, with sunroof, leather, AND RR diff lock, only has 99k miles, new timing belt done and W/P done at 95k.
Clear title.

I am just getting into these I know these are rare but exactly how rare is this one with those specs?

I paid $7200 for this truck, its a CA vehicle so no rust anywhere. needs new tires in about 6 months though.

i looked for like 6 months for something like that to pop up on craigslist in california, but never showed. id say its a really good deal considering the milage and everything else. great find!

You already knew it was a good deal. Those trucks with low miles often go $8-9k.

That said, I don't believe you actually have a 4Runner. Pics or it didnt happen.

Pretty good deal. Depends how what condition the body and interior are in.

I picked up a 2000 SR5 5spd. 4x4 sport with supercharger and diff lock for $7k at the beginning of March. It has 212k miles and I need to do the timing belt and water pump for the second time (last done at 120k). Also will need some new tires like yours, but I plan on lifting and getting bigger tires anyway.
It did also come with King coil overs on the front... so... YES!

Thanks guys, I looked at the buyer guide here and was a bit confused that this one had leather and sunroof while not being "limited" I was on the phone with the guy like "are you SURE?" etc etc hahah.



Thanks on the supra comments, I knew you guys would like, I am a huge bmw fan but think nothing compares to the gen 4 mk4 supra tt and the toyota trucks, and I like vintage honda bikes, cb200-cb350-cb360-cb550-cb750 etc etc

The supra has CCW Classics "race" 17x12R 18x10 fronts 335/285s and is currently at 696whp with a mild turbo, stock internals to the bone.


What kind of mods would you guys recommend for the runner, ive read up a bit and seen like a airbax mod, etc, little free or cheap mods but I dont really know the 4runner world so can anyone shed some light?
