Did toyota change bearing suppliers for idler pulley #2 1660431030

I received my order of my OEM idler pulleys today from a site/dealer than I have always ordered OEM parts from, and I have never had any issues

I purchased 2x of idler No 2, part number 16604-31030. Last numeric number of the actual pulley is 7016. I replaced the same No 2 idler pulleys (Part number 166040P011) on my sister 2007 V6 4Runner SR5 just two weeks ago, and the bearings on them were stamped Koyo bearings and were red. The bearings on pulleys I received for my 2015 4Runner are gray with no manufacturer stamping. From the parts diagram I've been searching through, both of these part numbers are interchangeable, some oem parts sites stating 0P03 part number is discontinued.

Has anyone ordered/replaced their No 2 idler pulleys recently, if so, what color was the actual bearings? I was going to replace the pulleys tomorrow, but now I'm a little hesitant that the parts I received are fakes.

Any input/help on the mater is greatly appreciated

I don’t see a country of origin on your packaging. Are they made in Japan?
I can’t help you, my #2 pulleys are a different “mark” (p/n 166040P011) and are Koyo.
Might want to try posting on this older thread.
