Diesel Tow

I have a 91 T4R with a 3.Slow I believe is how you guys refer to it lol. MPGs suck and I am building a racecar and plan to tow with the 4R. I know a lot of guys swap diesels in them, i like to look into a diesel but i couldnt find much on them when i searched. I was wanting to know what diesel motor options i have and what it cost. can somebody point me in the right place.

The Toyota 3B and 13B-T would serve you will. Stay away from the 2L-TE and the KZ engines.
