Diff torque specs?

Im flushing my front and rear diffs as well as my transfer case on my 97 limited and Im having trouble finding the torque specs for the fill and drain plugs on everything. I hate to post a question that may have already been answered but im having trouble finding it with the search function or in the FSM for my 3rd gen 4runner. In the past i always just snugged these bolts down pretty damn tight on all my trucks but i just wanna be meticulous with this toyota i guess. Thanks in advanced guys.

I just hand tighten, but I have marlin crawler low profile plugs on both...if you have stock plugs you may want to replace the crush washers while you have em out

I just tightened with a 3/8'' wrench that way not to over tighten, made sure I could crack them loose again then tightened them down, good to go.
 
Diff:
Fill plug=29 FT LBS
Drain plug= 29 FT LBS

Tranny: Drain and Fill= 27 FT LBS
Oil Pan= 65 FT LBS

Oil drain plug is 29 ft-lbf, which is pretty high. 65 is just crazy talk.

As far as the diffs go (and the oil drain for that matter) IMO "good and tight" is an appropriate torque.
 
That was my fault. 65 INCH lbs. Sorry.

Those torque specs came from the TTORA FSM page before it was shut down.
 
I read an article somewhere (a well researched and referenced article) that studied anti seize use and it said as long as you don't get the anti seize on the head of the bolt and keep it on the threads only you shouldn't affect your torque values to a significant amount.

This thread is a good read re: anti Seize. It deals with lug nuts specifically, but the concepts are transferable to any application.

Myself, I use anti-seize, sparingly on the threads only for pretty much any threaded part except where it is specifically advised NOT to use anti seize (such as the wheel bolts on my Saturn)
