It's not difficult. If you know how to swap out a tranny you're set basically. The only part you have to figure out is how you want to change up the tranny mount. I've seen them moved forward to the 4wd spot and we flipped mine and welded a plate on to catch it further forward while keeping the frame mounts in the same spot.

Can't leave the crossmember in place on the V6 auto 2WD to 4WD swap - it gets in the way of the transfer case. Been there, done that. The 3RZ/manual swap is obviously different. (crossmembers are in different places)

If you have access to all the parts (PARTS TRUCK!) and you know how to weld, it isn't hard compared to a lot of other work we do on our trucks... Even with using ADD, it is about 6 wires and 1 relay for the wiring side (assuming regular j-shift).
