Diffs and Transfer case fluid kit

I run Amsoil. However, I don't dump good fluids just run it (my 19 Runner still has factory fill minus the engine oil) and I don't advertise to the public (stickers) that I run it. It's not terribly expensive because I just run the OE line since I'm not looking to extend change intervals. Also I get a slight discount. Run what you want. Kendall makes good stuff. :fencing:

I do admire how they market through word-of-mouth thru dealers on forums, then people buy it, then they mention it and more buy it.

"Everybody" seems to become a dealer when looking to pay less.

I tend to go for what I perceive is the underdog for most things. I purchase Cornwell tools for the same reason.

I had been thinking about trying something else other than Amsoil but I need to finish out my stock. I just have a preferred membership that expires pretty soon.

I am 100% for the underdog.
But I hate deceptive marketing practices. :sad:

You heard about Amsoil on a forum most likely or was recommended to you by someone into cars that is a member of forums.

I used to be big into "tracks and strips" and learned my lessons from people who know much more than I do and won't trust $40k, $60k (owned/leased) and up engine builds to just any oil.

Redline is overkill for 99% of people on this particular forum.
And one personal experience, I truly believed the oil saved my wallet, was when a belt snapped on a Land Rover I have. I actually thought there was a squirrel in my dash, turned around, drove another 14 miles, and shut 'er down in my driveway, which was 1/4 mile uphill.
Nothing warped and all is good.

And, I have a Sienna with over 515k on the ticker, and when doing gaskets, the engine is CLEAN inside. The other Sienna is a "sludge" engine, and that has over 300k on the ticker and was CLEAN inside as well. Toyota techs were actually amazed when the missus took it in to be checked.
That sludger is actually FASTER than the brandy new 4R. :fear::fear::yuck::sad:
