I'm trying to decide between the Redline 75w90 and Amsoil Severe Gear 75w110, but I have a couple of questions.
1. I take it, if I go with the Redline, I want the non-limited slip one for both diffs and the transfer case?
2. If I go with the Amsoil, would that also work in the transfer case, or should I stick to the Redline 75w90 in there?
3. And finally, should I go with the Redline or Amsoil?
Factors that might affect my choice: I live in San Diego county, but often make trips up to the Mojave desert, where it can easily get above 100 degrees in the summer. At the moment, I don't ever tow anything, but I might later on. I try to go wheeling as often as I can, which works out to maybe once every month or two.
Thanks for any suggestions.
