dip stick question

On my 3rg gen when I pulled the dipstick it had some lines to indicate the level of oil. My 4th gen does not have that. Can the dipstick be changed for a better one with the indicator lines?

Should have high and low mark, is a small dimple.
I hit mine with 80grit sandpaper, cross-hatch pattern, so the oil has something to stick to.

Like [MENTION=89794]BackOff[/MENTION] said, you have a "Full" and a "Low" mark on the dipstick, as long as the fluid level is between the two dots I wouldn't worry about it.

But it's not a bad idea to use some rough sand paper or a file and give it a crosshatch pattern between the dots so the shows up a bit better on the dipstick. It's not needed, but does make it a bit easier to see the level.
