Dippin' and Grillin'

Finally got the TRD grille in last week - so I decided to dip the front & rear valence, rear emblem, and flares at the same time as installing the grille. Started earlier in the week washing and prepping, masked last night, and starting painting this morning. Went with Anthracite on the front and back, and black on the flares.

On the third coat now (pics from first coat) and am a little dizzy from all the fumes:dance: I will post up more pics once I make more progress...

That will look great. I was thinking of having the flares painted black. it should be interesting to see how long they last with plasti-dip.

Finished spraying and unmasking - came out great! I think it adds more dimension and helps break up all the super white. I could only get crappy pictures with the lighting in my garage and the phone. I still need to put on the TRD grille and the mud flaps - but wanted to let it cure overnight before messing with it too much.

The process was really easy - and the dip is very forgiving. I will post up more pics when I get it all back together and get it outside!

Yeah, 6x6 sheets on morimoto led fogs.

Am I missing something? Is the Pro grill you are referring to the bottom lip cap? I thought you were getting the middle bar cover T emblem delete?
