To preface, I did a quick search through both 4R and Tacoma threads. 2 weeks ago I had my stock LCA's replaced with Dirt King LCA's. I also removed the front sway bar. I also have a Dobinson's kit plus UCA's.
Driving out of the shop I immediately noticed considerable bounce in the front end. More than I thought possible despite already having read there would be bounce after the LCA replacement. Common response was give it up to 2 weeks to settle and things would be back to normal. Well, 2 weeks later and it's not as bad as Day 1, but there is still quite a bit of bounce on roads that I perceive are flat.
Could the issue be that when they re-torqued my UCA they did it while on the lift instead of on the ground? I am going to take it back in, but I would prefer to have a general idea of what to look for or ask about. Appreciate any help/feedback here.
