Okay, cool. So you would be swapping it into your own housing? The mods needed to fit an elocked third into a open housing aren't too tough.

Yeah I was looking at [MENTION=58830]JWaldz[/MENTION] writeup about it. And clicked on a few links he had there, looks pretty straight forward. I can do it at the hobby shop no problem.

Why is the guy swapping an elocker axle for another elocker axle? Doesn't make sense. I wouldn't be so quick to jump on his old one without asking a lot of questions and a thorough look over.

Oh it got hit by some lady and bent something in the axle, forgot to add that, but he said he's been driving it for two weeks after it happened, I'll post pictures whe we get it off and test the locker itself.

Yep that's him, he was a very nice fellow, I didn't know he was selling it haha I might have to buy it bahaha. Be like PitbullRescuer and have 800 4runners. That's actually kinda a dream of mine though :spy:

Okay so not really too much has been done. I installed some lights on the rig, the ones I bought from Cree for only 36 bucks, these things are awesome. Very bright. Ill get pictures of the amount they put out later but for now a pic of what they look like. I thought they were going to be a cheapie set but really exceeded my standards.

I'm from katy Texas, but now I'm back in San Diego. That was right outside of comfort.

Got a list of things to do today, valve cover gaskets, LBJs, TREs, and going to try my hand at welding. Gonna put the sliders on. Brand new LBJs from the stealership.

Alright, small update today. Went to the junk yard on a sure when thought and got a little lucky today. Found two head lights from a 2000 runner that are actually working and not shattered. Also a newer black grille. And some fender flares. All for a great price!

Alright what a day today was. Got to meet some people and see some great looking rigs! Also finally put on the fender flares.
