Disabling TPMS?

The TPMS indicator is flashing in my '06 and the dealership is telling me that means at least one of the sensors in each of the 5 wheels has gone bad and will need to be replaced ... at a cost of $259 each, and the only way they can determine which needs to be replaced is to just start replacing them one at a time. Needless to say, I can check my own air pressure. So the question is, how can I disable the indicator?

Tire shops will be way cheaper than that

This is perfect ... thanks! I'm taking great pleasure in the fact that I got the solution before I even left the dealership ...:moon:

Did it to mine now have the new and improved TPMS

^^ Haha, got a laugh out of me on that one. Im thinking I'll disable mine too. Getting tired of the flashing light and i'll just leave a tire pressure gauge in the 4Runner.

Thanks for the link to that write up!
