I just ordered two sets... 265.70.17 and 285.70.17 damnit! Talk about impluse buying. And that was a pain in the arse to use paypal. I kept getting rejected because it thought i was a fraud with 4 similar back to back orders.

kpinthebay: regarding Paypal. If you use Paypal often enough that it's an issue, what I'd recommend is that you get a dedicated Paypal credit card. It's been several years ago for me, but if I remember correctly it was because of the hassle of dealing with paypal and ebay that I got a Paypal-issued card that I use ONLY for ebay, or other companies that I don't totally trust.
What I like about having this card is that, once set up, it's very fast and easy to make a purchase. Too easy, sometimes.
Another thing: when the card was issued, Paypal also sent me a second 'security' card. It's shaped like a credit card, and has a button on it that generates a new random number each time I press it. When I make a purchase, the Paypal site will ask me to input that number before I am allowed to proceed. It's a second line of defense, in case anyone ever got ahold of my ebay account info. I keep this card by my computer; it just takes a few seconds to press the button, generate the security number, and be done with the purchase.
Anyway, once you have the Paypal CC account set up, making purchases is painless.
The name of the card is 'Paypal Extras'. Mine is a MasterCard, issued by Synchrony Bank. There don't seem to be any monthly or annual fees -- at least I haven't seen any. On the back of my card, the contact phone number for the Paypal Extras card is listed as 1-866-300-6432. The general paypal.com site is also listed, which means it should be easy to track down info if you're interested.
The only thing I don't like about the Paypal card is that it can't be set up with automated monthly payments. With all my other cards, I don't have to remember to make a payment. With PP, I had to set up a reminder in Quicken that tells me each month that I have to log in to Paypal, track down my balance, and manually authorize the payment thru my bank. It's not a major hassle, but it would be better if it was mindless.
Whenever I deal with Paypal and/or ebay, I always have the feeling that I'm on a site that was designed in 1985. Primitive. I much prefer Amazon, but at least with the PP credit card, when I do have to make a purchase within their system, at least I'm in and out quickly.

Are the certificates worth it? I bought duratracs 265/70/17 LR-C. I can add the certificates at Discount Tire when I have these tires mounted.
I plan to go offroad, but nothing crazy.

Definitely worth it. I've had tires repaired or replaced a number of times over the years due to pot holes, nails, etc. No questions asked.
