Bought 2 bfg all terrain ko2, then several days later bought two more. Combined I saved 200.00! That was using paypal credit both times. Awesome deal. Now anybody in colorado springs looking for a decent set of used cooper dicoverer at3 265 75 16?

I'm definitely not getting screwed by waiting on this unicorn sale. I'm somewhat optimistic still...

Actually now it says he's banned and that he doesn't have any posts... Didn't say that 3 days ago.

What would be his incentive to prevent people from buying these tires?
Usually internet scams are rather obvious and have a clear goal, this is definitely strange.

It seems a little too inconvenient that the Amazon "sale" would be right after the Discount Tire sale. But the saint patty's explanation seems decent enough it could actually be true. His disappearance seems unrelated to the sale; I think.

He's gone because he was a liar. In the past year, he's created several accounts stating he's had all of these vehicles but he keeps getting called out by [MENTION=63487]A.Wilson013[/MENTION] haha. He's probably just some 16 year old kid. I wouldn't count on Amazon having a sale.

He's pretty easy to spot on his new accounts. Always has outlanding stories (first time he owned a TRD Pro Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner and his wife drove a 200 series which he got at a police auction for like $10,000) and uses way to many of those emoji things.

How did you submit/provide a copy of your receipt.?
Did you just take a screen shot of the 2 orders you made through eBay?
I just want to make sure I do it exactly like you to maximize the probability of this rebate.
You definitely made out like a bandit! This tire deal is definitely the best deal I've ever gotten on tires. I'm use to paying $1,100 for some 265's all said and done from a tire place total with tax and all that other stuff they get you with.
I'm hoping I can follow the same steps you did to ensure the rebate

Just realized after a whole lot of research compiling a list of prices and tires and breaking them down with the available savings. [MENTION=134875]2old2soon[/MENTION], looks like you ordered load range B tires. Hopefully this will work for you. I almost ordered the tires for that same price and kept looking and realized it doesnt mention LR B, but rather states 4-ply. Hopefully this helps people looking to make last minute purchases like me, look at the load ranges.

Just got 4 265/75R16 Duratracs in load range C. Unfortunately I could only get $100 off because they are less than $400 for 2, but it's a better deal than anywhere else right now and I really didn't want load range E.
infamousRNR -- For the $70 rebate directly from Cooper, the receipt I used is the paper one from DTD that came attached to one of the tires when delivered by UPS. I used a desktop scanner to create a jpeg file, which I then attached to the submission form at the end of the process of filling out name, address, etc. If you don't have a scanner, I'm guessing you could submit a phone photo, as long as it is clear enough to read, since they do ask for the receipt number.
[edited to add: by 'attached' I mean that during the online submission process, there is a box you check that allows you to locate the jpeg file on your computer, and then upload it along with the other info when you click something like 'Submit'. It's all digital, all online; you are not mailing in anything, or attaching a copy to any physical paperwork.]
As I mentioned in my post, what seemed to move the process from 'waiting for verification' to 'approved' was making that phone call to the rebate company. I was polite, and simply asked whether I also needed to submit the PDF form I'd seen linked at the techbargains.com web site. Once I gave the woman my submission reference number, she looked it up on her computer, verified that I'd done everything correctly, and approved the rebate. I don't know how long it would have taken without the phone call, or whether it would have been approved at all. As I said, I've had my share of hassles collecting rebates, and am very wary of how easily companies can 'deny' a rebate for no reason at all. Didn't happen this time... though I don't yet have the $70.

After reading your post, I went to the Cooper site and saw that the Max Load for this tire was 2756 pounds, one of the highest listed on that page. Here's the AT/3 link for anyone interested: Cooper Tire & Rubber Company - Discoverer A/T3?. Once you're on that page, click the 'Tire Sizes & Specs' button, then find the tire you're looking for.

Yea I just wasnt sure if you had noticed. I ended up grabbing 5 265/75R16 AT3's for what will be $615 after the rebate. I used a screenshot of the ebay confirmation, hopefully this is enough, but I will call to verify next week some time.
bmodo16: Has UPS delivered your tires yet? If not, when they arrive a copy of the 'official' receipt should be attached to one of the tires, along with your address label. I'm pretty sure that since $70 is at stake, Cooper will require that you submit that receipt, not a screenshot. I've seen this movie before.
If I were you, and if you haven't gotten your tires, when you do then call that phone number and ask about re-submitting using a copy of the DTD receipt. If you have everything ready to go on your computer, you might even be able to hit the Submit button and have the rep on the other end see it instantly, and tell you whether you are good to go or not. My concern would be if the paperwork is not submitted correctly, according to their rules, and the deadline passes for the end of the rebate period, you're out of luck.

Now that I know how to link PDFs to posts, and while I'm thinking about it, I had also downloaded rebate forms from the techbargains listing for Michelin and Goodyear tires. My son seemed interested when I told him about my new tires, but I didn't know what brand he preferred.
