If he cared about his employees he would have divided up that million as bonuses for his people. If he cared about his customers he would not happily flash that much money obnoxiously to try and show us up.
I have been smoking for about 35 years and I regularly run circles around my peers. I have attained my university degree and have numerous certifications subsequent to that. Its not about smoking, it's about attention to detail and caring about team reputation. That can't be taught. You either have it or you don't.
I will also be retiring at an early age in about 4 years after working for over twenty. Not too bad.

I know lots of people who work or have worked for them. From highschool some have worked up the ranks and others who started later and work there. They all got good bonuses, good pay, and all loved/love working there.
Although I have never smoked before, I am 100% for legalizing it. Its stupid not too. There is tons of benifits some get from it and the down sides are no worse then say alcohol are.
I know many people who have smoked for years. Everyome from loosers since high school still woking at 7-11 to people who have masters and doctorate degrees earling quarter million dollars, weed has nothing to do with your choice to be successful. Congrats to you though on the early retirement.
I live in Oregon where weed is legal. I voted yes on the measire even though I do not ever intend to smoke. I think those who want to have every right.
When he donated the $1m do you think he donated it as the guy who owns Discount Tire? Not likley, he proble made a personal donation and everyone changed it to add "the guy who owns Discount Tire". Even if he did though, I still do not care. Its his personal belief and just because he is successful does not mean he cant put his money towards his bliefe. Should there be a rule that says if your successful you cant donate to what you think is important? That's the joy of a free country.

Legalizing it isn't the best solution. They should just decriminalize it. When you legalize it you just create paperwork and more bureaucracy and cost more money. Washingtons legal pot law is kinda a joke. The government got involved and it took them forever and a day just to figure out how to set up the grow aspect of it. Then the distribution aspect and then also have to allow cities to opt out of selling it on the grounds it's still a federal crime. Just decriminalize it and leave it alone.

Just for FYI if you read the initiative closely, 1. it prevents you from buying a gun. The 9th circuit court. 2. It only allows a few people to sell it legally, anyone who owns a dispensary is against it. Read the fine print.

That's got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard comrade. How much money is alcohol losing the government, eh? Governments are going to make money hand over fist on marijuana. They wouldn't be entertaining the thoughts of legalizing it if they wouldn't.

Well first I commented on the bureaucracy of creating more government. Never said one word about money for profit. They do a piss poor job of managing our money anyways.
Washington government isn't making nearly the same money as Colorado. Washington put the liquor control board in charge of developing the laws. The liquor control boards job is to limit who, what, where, and when liquor and now weed can be sold, used, etc. hence one of the reasons I said Washington'a law is a joke.
Colorado put their department of revenue in charge and is making money left and right.
As to alcohol look at the liquor sales and profit margins between Washington and California. Californias liquor is considerably cheaper than Washington and they make more money on it.
And it is still a federal crime don't forget that. Because weed is federally illegal the states could get in a lot of trouble if they federal government decided to crack down on it regardless of what one administration said they would or would not do. Hence the statement of decriminalize it. Once decriminalized, if a state wanted to take action they could based on the will of their voters and state government.
Remember a state may enact stricter laws than the federal ones but not more lax laws unless it is built in to the states constitution or other major document.
Hence the 9th court of appeals having control over the gun & CPL laws on the west coast. However Washington states constitution allows for the citizens to bear arms for defense of himself , or the state and thus the courts ruling having little effect on the state of Washington.
(Just an example of how a state can have a legally more lax law than the federal standard)

I smell a Bernie supporter. Spread the wealth......Don't like where he spends his money if its against your personal agenda, but if he spends it for pot initiatives you would be all for him? I doubt his intention when donating was to personally go out of his way and "obnoxiously show you up"?

My retirement will be happily spent getting even with lots of humans. There is plenty to hate about humans.
