OP. here is the deal.

You said something negative about Toyota. That gets people here excited and on the offense. It's not exactly right, but it is the mob mentality playground politics that take place on a vehicle specific forum.

If you would have come on and said. I love the 4runner... everyone would have been telling you what a smart guy you are for buying one and given you plenty of solid advice.

You are not helping yourself by ranting... I doubt anyone here is on welfare... and in case you did not know, most Americans consider it extremely inappropriate to talk about your income (nobody cares). Education is another area that you should not bring up unless it is relative to the conversation at hand.

Car dealers are generally scam artist (it is a well known fact). There are a few good ones, but they are few and far between. You should first figure out what you want, then educate yourself on how to get a good deal and then go from there.

Good luck and try dialing back you intensity a few notches. It will make things much easier.

He didn't talk trash about Toyota. He really didn't talk trash about anything other than his perceived buying experience.

It's the way he did it. The WHINE all the way through the post. Then he got his hackles up and started calling people names and talking about how good and how much money he has to justify his whine I guess. Then he talked about marrying a 14 YO girl. I was set on the TE also but screw paying 37-42 over the 32 I walked out with on mine, and after I read some of them post on here about KDSS problems it looked like more of a head ache them it's worth.

I like how we have our own side conversation going on in this super heated thread [emoji81]

That's what I'm thinking too, paying thousands extra for a couple of features I could do without or just add aftermarket myself. Wasn't aware of problems with the KDSS, I will search for those thanks.

I just ignore the noise and focus on the signal.
