Here you go... the thing to remember is they til up slightly. Be careful to measure against the bottom of the door, so it doesn't hit the slider when opening. My bender dies are 6" on center. Good luck with your sliders.

I have a Miller 211 with Autoset. Great machine...! I've had Lincoln machines too. They are also really good. When asked I always tell people to go straight to a 220v welder if you can afford it. Just about everyone I know that bought a 110v welder has upgraded to a 220v with in a couple of years.

I'm looking at a ViperMig which is $500 and swaps between 115v/220v. I've learned welding on Lincolns but I was told the ViperMig is a good machine to get since it's not crazy overpriced

First time I've heard of ViperMig... quick google search doesn't turn up a whole lot in terms of reviews/feedback. My Miller also runs on both voltages in case you don't have a 220v line.

My friend did some welds on his truck using his buddies ViperMig and said it felt nice and smooth

I've used my Grandpa's Hobart 140 (made by Miller) for quite a few of my projects. Might be on the smaller side for some of the stuff I've welded (some 3/8 and 1/2 plate) but as far as I can tell it has done just fine on the thick stuff.

awesome design, i'll have to toy around with it a little and build myself a set! are all the measurements from the tube outsides to tube outsides or centerline to centerlines in the drawing?
