I'm looking at doing some DIY sliders as a fun project with a buddy and was hoping for some help with measurements based on some of the different aftermarket brands. It looks like the rocker seam that I'm looking to defend is about 66" long on my TRDOR, but I'd probably make the slider portion 65" to make sure I have a little room to play with and make sure they fit. This length should be the same for the SR5 and Pro as well.
I'm also curious about width of the step on various models of sliders since they vary a great deal. I know most of them are angled up, but I'm interested in true width, as in the distance from the outer edge of the slider to the outer edge of the step tubing. Obviously an eyeball + tape measure approximation is perfectly fine just to get an idea.
So, what brand of sliders do you have, how long is the slider portion, and how wide is the step? I'll update this original post if others are interested.
