Actually, my other car is all green LED, but yeah, you know I wanted blue
I'm hoping it's the darker blue and not the bright blue
So, after working over 70 hours last week, I rented the steering wheel puller on friday night, and then lost all motivation to work on the truck. I was mentally burned out and didn't want to mess with the steering wheel, so I will wait till next weekend, hopefully I won't be as burned out

Me too. I was going to finish a mod today, but had a wedding last night. Today, parents are over for a visit plus I'm tired. Motivation 0.

Ordered Monday, Shipped Wednesday, Received in mail on Saturday, Installed today!
No rubbing, no puller needed. Looks great. VERY easy. Prob. took me an hour TOPS including cleaning. Trimmed the cover like CookieRoe showed except I only removed the 3 little tabs; didn't trim the exposed cover itself.
Thanks for making me spend more money!
Oddly it looks like the frame for the wheel may have been used??? The splines looked a little rusty or dirty where on the wheel I removed they looked pristine. Not a problem, just an observation.
For anyone not wanting to spend the money but looking for a thicker wheel, a wheelskins cover is an option. I had one on my wheel for several years before I replaced the wheel and it gave the wheel a nice "thickness" feel.

Finally Installed my Black Piano Wood Leather Sport Steering Wheel.

I only trimmed the steering wheel spoke excess rubber/foam.

I love my wheel every time i get in it. I had the displeasure of driving a 98 dodge ram with a icky wheel.
One good thing came out from this mod, i make sure my hands are clean before i drive my truck now!
