Well I just installed our new steering wheel last night after putting the wife to bed. Easy peasy! The most time-consuming step was trying to figure out what needed trimmed to avoid the rubbing issue [MENTION=63211]emelianenkov[/MENTION] reported. I didn't end up having to trim anything... everything went together just fine. The eBay seller must have fixed the issue.
I love the steering wheel. My only complaint is I thought the leather would be softer or better quality. Mine was a bit rough/wrinkled. I bought the steering wheel without thumb grips and non-perforated leather.
I don't think I ever saw a definitive answer on the cheapest offer the seller would accept on eBay. To answer the question, it's definitely $199. I increased my offer in $1 increments... $198 was rejected.
Quite a big hit to the wallet in the last 2 weeks...
$415 - Two new front wheel hub/bearing assemblies (overpaid for the first one on eBay... bought a better and cheaper assembly for the 2nd off a guy on this forum)
$970 - New tires
$208 - Replaced spare tire winch cable... while changing the tires I tried swapping out the spare rim because it was less corroded. The crap cable frayed and broke. Its a PITA replacing the winch.
$245 - New steering wheel (after shipping)
$750 - New Kenwood DNX572BH stereo head unit and parts due to arrive next week
Looking forward to installing a new stereo soon, along with new back-lighting for the gauges if [MENTION=63211]emelianenkov[/MENTION] can give me a good price (hint hint)!
So now who wants to buy an OEM UrbanRunner steering wheel with perforated and non-perforated leather?? It's in great shape, promise!
