Like the title says, I just recently bought a timing belt kit from. Timing Belt Kit Toyota 4 Runner 3.4L V6 5VZFE 96-02 - eBay (item 300477596470 end time Mar-05-11 12:53:19 PST)

And they are asking if I have an oil cooler pipe on the waterpump, do I? I have a 97 and its a 3.4 5speed. Thanks.

If there is a small hose coming out the side of your thermostat housing you need it, if not, you don't.

Some has to have experience with this kit, or at least the water pump. Does the water punp have any line connected to it? Thanks

I think most trucks have the cooler. My '99 SR5 5-speed does, so it's not an auto/manual thing. I have never seen a break down of what does and does not. Best thing is just to look at the truck. That's what I did.

Elton first of all I never thanked you for the timing belt write-up linky, so THANKS. Would it be safe to assume that I have this cooler line? Its pretty dark out and ill be leaving out of town tomorrow pretty earlier so won't have time to check. I just want to get it shipped out.

Think I figured it out. Does the water pump feed the lower rad hose? If so, I think what I'm looking at is the water pump, and there is a line. Thanks for your help, sorry for being such a noob.
