Do Pioneer TSD1602R speakers fit?

I've searched but I didn't find the answer... I know a lot of guys run kappa 6.5 in the front. I just want to know if the Pioneer TSD1602R 6.5 speakers would fit in the front doors without any cutting. Trying to get the best bang for the buck. The Pioneer TSD1602R are one of the highest rating. Thanks in advance.

Try to find the depth dimensions and compare to the Kappa speakers. I am currently running rockford fosgate 6.5 in the front without any issues.

Infinity is 2-1/8
Pioneer is 2-3/8

Now I'm wondering if there is enough clearance.

I don't think so. Without the spacer bracket that comes with the Kappas there is not enough clearance.

I'd just go with Kappas. Nothing against pioneer. But I am really happy with Kappas and no need to worry about clearance.

I personally run the PIONEER TS-D1702R 6.75 speakers in the front, and I had no trouble fitting them at all, but I used some spacer/adapter that people were using here for the 4runner though. And I might have used 2 of them each side, I do not clearly remember as I did the setup 1 year ago. All in all, everything worked easily and still runs trouble and rattle free.

As far as I know, you need an adaptor to fit aftermarket speakers in the doors, and those adaptor do add a slight bit of clearance because of their thickness (around 1/8)
