Do you feel certain cars fit certain personalities or people?

As the title says, i bring this up as it was a similar discussion about personality in a class i just got out of. And it reminded me of something a friend said to me.

Anyone have anyone have any thoughts on the subject?

When I lived in the midwest, I would have probably said yes. after 6ish years in CA I would say not at all.

interesting... I can usually guess which car belongs to what customer but I'm not always right either.

I feel that if someone loves their ride enough to tastefully modify it, it might fit their personality pretty well.

Most other people in Southern California couldn't tell you the difference between a wheel and a tire...

i'd say chad is pretty typical of new mustang owners....that conversation seems to fit with what i envision the modern mustang driver to be like..lol

everyone here drives subaru's,vw's and so on, everyone here is a pu**y....so there you go. lol...

honestly though, i think COB is right on, if it's been modified it usually matches the owners personality, to some people a car is just a means of transport, but if you take the time to modify it, it must speak to you in some way or another .......

What COB said. No one here knows jack about cars either. The V6 Mustang made me LOL.

I once was talking to a guy I know about transmissions. His argument was "Why would you want a manual? Just get the automatic, it does all the shifting for you."

I was speechless.

Among "car people", absolutely. The vast majority of people buy a car based more on the color or fuel economy than any real measure though, so in general I'd say no.
