Looking for information from people who have (or had) a front spacer lift. Please reply with answers to the following questions:

1) How much lift in front?

2) How many miles on lift?

3) Do you go off-road?

4) Has the spacer lift caused any damage?

5) Catastrophic damage?

6) Do you regret having chosen a spacer lift?

7) Why did you choose a spacer lift over other options?

If you don't have or never had a front spacer lift, please do not clutter this thread.

Thanks!

I realize you have an emotional attachment to your spacer lift, but is it really worth starting a new thread over?

Here is a good, unbiased article on the pros and cons of spacer lifts. It's about Jeeps but applies to 4Runners equally:

Coil Spacers Vs. New Springs - The Need-To-Knows Before You Lift

The bottom line is that spacer lifts aren't total junk, nor are they ideal. A good spacer lift is certainly an acceptable option if it's all you can afford and you're not going to be banging off the droop limits regularly.

However, I (and a lot of others) will maintain that as long as you're tearing into the suspension anyway, it's worth the expense of new springs and shocks if you can possibly swing it. Not a huge deal either way.

C'mon I'm looking for first-hand experience data. If you have none to offer , please don't clutter this thread.

I started this thread to ask others of their experience, with it's own proper title. Specifically not to argue with you. We can argue over there. Not here.

Subbed not for the spacer info, but for the hot fire OP is spitting at people who tell him to search.

2. its been all around the world
3. I do it everywhere, on and off the road...no Fcks given
