Do you need any extras to install the Toytec Ultimate lift?

Newbie here. I've been looking around the forum and have found a wealth of great information. The pic threads and lift sticky are great. I am a little pressed for time and was wondering if you need anything extra that does not come with the Toytec Ultimate lift (extended brake lines etc.). I am planning on the ultimate lift with the diff drop and uca's running 275/70r17 on factory wheels. The lift will go on a 2005 SR5 V8 4runner.

the only thing you may want are sway bar relocates, the sway bar may be close to contacting the coil over assembly, but I'm pretty sure you can get by without it

Adjustable DOM panhard bar. Re-aligns your rear axle the small amount that the lift will throw it off. Makes your 4runner track straight on the road. Its a great kit, I'm glad I went with Toytec.

The kit comes with the sway bar relocator. Be ready to cut out the cam bolts if they are frozen in there. I wound up getting new lower control arms as well when I put mine in.

I didn't need anything special that wasn;t already included in the kit when I did mine. Some tips to make it easier - Spray PB Blaster on all of the nuts and bolts before starting and that will help. The torque on the diff mounts is fairly high so have a breaker bar or a pipe you can put on your wrench to gain more leverage to break those loose. It was helpful to have a ratcheting wrench for the top rear shock bolt - not required, just makes it easier/quicker. Also, borrow a spring compressor from your local auto parts store for the rear springs - a buddy and I were able to install without it, but we struggled even with our full weight on the axle.

I didn't do the UCA so I don't know about that process.

Good luck - I've enjoyed my kit and it has performed well

Thanks for all the info guys. I will prob. go ahead and order that track bar with my kit. Did you guys have to do any trimming in the fender wells or take off your mud guards? I would like to avoid any of that for right now. How does this kit ride and handle? It will see mostly long distance highway miles as a daily driver, but will be a weekend camping vehicle / BOV. Unfortunately we just sold our house ... with the garage ... , so I will not be installing this kit myself. Hopefully one of the local offroad shops will be able to install it. The wife will prob. be happier that way. It shouldn't take as long hopefully and this is her daily driver till she gets a new ride in the spring. Then the 4runner is all mine ::evil laugh:: Thanks again for all the help!

Forgot to add this ... Is there any major difference between the boss shocks and the 5100's? I have 5100's on my F250 and I like them. Didn't know if the boss shocks were much different. And one more thing ... I know this is a little off topic, but the 4R just rolled over 105k miles. I was going to have the belt changed. Should I go ahead and do the water pump too? Not having any issues with it, but we drive an hour, sometimes more, to get to work and usually out in the boonies so I don't much care for the idea of being stranded out with no cell reception.
