Just curious how many of you guys don't have your sways connected. I've been running without them connected for almost 2 years.. and with the stiffness of the Performance Products springs I don't really notice any more body roll than I had with stock springs and sways connected. I do still have the swaybar on the vehicle, just no end links.
I'm about to put new coilovers up front (Bilstein 5100 / 600# Eibach coils [Toytec]), and I don't know how the stiffness will compare to the PP springs.. or how noticeable any extra body roll might be present after doing this. If it still isn't bad I'm thinking about chopping the end link mounting point completely off.
The reason for this is I recently had Tacoma LBJ and OTRE's installed, and lost some turning radius in the process. The Tacoma parts are a little beefier and are coming in contact with the end link mounting bracket. Some people have mentioned trimming part of the bracket to regain some of the radius, but I figured since I don't run them why not just chop them completely off?
Anyone else went this route, or see a reason why I shouldn't do this?
