I installed 238's 6 months ago. They have settled a bit. Measuring from center of hub to fender lower outer edge, I have 20.75 on LF and 20.5 on RF. I have KDSS. It was 19.25 and 19 when I replaced the original springs at 114,000 miles. If lift stays at or above 20.25 to 20 over the next 85,000 miles, I'll be happy

That’s what puzzles me about Dobinsons. I was told 3/4 to 1” max. Even with settling you’re above that. My Eibach hasn’t settled at all but I think twin tubes shocks might give me a better ride on the road.

So I have a set of Dobinsons GS59-700 Front Struts and C59-350 730lbs springs. These are what were recommended based on what I have and what I wanted, supposed to be heavy load 2"+ inch lift (my truck is on the bottom end of their heavy rating). My CV's are almost level, so more like 1" lift, my center cap to fender is 20.75". To top it off one of the top hat bolts spun before it torqued (he sent along a replacement asap, so that was nice, still a fn PITA to pull the shock compress and replace), the pan bolt threads sheared had to cut it off. For the price I paid, they get a generous "meh" 3-of-5 star rating from me.
I guess main objective of my point is I got less than ~half the expected lift from the springs I received.

C59-350 - 2″-2.5″ – Toyota 4Runner 2009-21 Heavy Load 160-240LBS (varies by accessory weight and shocks used)

I don't think I'm above 1 inch as inferred by your reply.
I'm assuming nominal front suspension height is 20 inches as often reported by others. Before installing the Dobinson springs, I also measured height from ground to frame, which indicated the original springs had sagged almost one inch after 114,000 miles, resulting in 19.25 left and 19 right as I quoted above.
As I see it, the 238s have lifted the suspension back to original height plus 0.75 lift on the left and 0.50 on the right.
I have KDSS, which means I generally see a 0.25 inch lower measurement on the RF after a trip. If I stand on the drivers side running board near the rear tire and jostle the vehicle, the front suspension levels out to 20.75 inches. Consequently, I am very pleased to have the minimum lift of 0.75 inches after 6 months.

I see what you’re saying now. I know every truck is different and I’m ok with 1/4” either way. I just don’t want to expect 1” and get 2” of have it settle a ton. I’d just keep my Eibach if they didn’t feel so stiff at low speeds. Maybe the twin tubes are the same.

I Just measured it today Front Left still holding at 21" left rear 22 1/4"
I'm happy with that the ride is alot better than stock
So over all 1 1/4" on both

I've had them on for 3 years close to 40k...19 3/4 both sides stock springs - 21 3/4 both sides w/Dobinson 238. Measured today and both still holding 21 1/2 - 21 3/4.
I've been debating going to 285, I think they will fit but don't really want to take the chance of a rub. Think I will stick with stock LTs for another couple of years.

Did you replace the rear spring as well? Dobinsons has a 323 zero lift rear spring with a little higher rate.
Are you trying to level the truck?
What shocks do you intend to use for the front?
As far as the rear I used the C59-599 Springs with GS59-705 shocks
This kept the rake and rides real nice
I was looking at the 700 shock in the front. As far as lift,I wanted either 1” and 0” or 2” and 1”. Not level but half the factory rake. I have that with the Eibach but I’m looking for something more comfortable on the highway.

I went with 599 rear coils and GS59-701 Rear Shocks. As others have mentioned, I still have a slight rake with this setup.
This is perfect. Thank you for posting this. I think you're the first person I've found in my extensive search for someone with 238 coils front, and 599 coils rear. Have any more pics with this setup? Great looking tire size too! What size are they? (you should probably add details in your signature so people like me don't keep annoying you!
I've looked at your rig on here before and like the results! I am curious though. Your numbers for the front are showing that you got about 2" lift in the front. Is that right? From 19 3/4" to 21 3/4"? I'm curious your measurements for the empty rear also.
I have a 21 TRD ORP and currently stock is measuring at 20" front and 22" rear. Looking to keep the factory rake and looking to get a low lift of 1-1.25 on both ends.
Also, looks like you got the 701 rear shocks which are the slightly stiffer ones correct? If stiffer is it too bouncy unloaded? Any insights would be greatly appreciated as this is the set up I am most likely going with. Best...

Yes, it is definitely closer to 2"in the front. Rear is at 23 1/4 - 23 1/2.
I don't consider the ride bouncy at all. It's just nice and firm in my opinion. It tows well too, I rent requirement from time to time (nothing too big) and towed a 95 4runner a couple hundred miles (this may have been pushing it).
