What size tire on a 2”? I got a 3” dobinson installed on Monday with spc uca. I wanted a dobinson uca but they were backordered at Toyota. Falken 285 and it rub the front bumper against the back tire well at full lock. Just a fyi.

Wanna know what the best rear springs are for my 19 SR5. Currently have 5100s all around at 2.5" in front. Rear sits a little lower than I would like with 1.5" daystar spacers. Wan't to get another .5" or so. Mainly my wifes daily driver but do like to get off the beaten path and head up to the mountains for snowboarding every so often. Currently running falken 285s/70/17.

Thinking that the C59-325 are what I am looking for? Maybe C59-327? Have the 3rd row seat option but currently have no kids to fill it and don't pack around too much gear.

C59-325 will be right at 2" with the 3rd row seat. If you think you'll be adding any more constant weight, you could go up to the 327's, but they really aren't needed if it will stay as is.

Mike, I am about to swap out my 300's for 302's. Do you think it is safe to use a traditional spring compressor for the 302's given they are meant for heavier weight?

I don't think so. Others have said that they can't get the spring compressors off once the coil is in place because of the spacing between the coils when it's compressed.

I can only suggest a proper strut spring compressor.

I think that is what I was referring to, the strut spring compressor where you have two separate sides that clamp onto the spring and you use a rachet to tighten down each one to compress the spring.

Yeah, that won't work for the reasons Mike mentioned. You need a wall mount strut compressor that has the super thin fingers. I had to take mine to an off road shop to have them switch them out.

Thanks for the heads up! Still running stock size AT3Ws but will definitely "make" room when I move up to either a 275 or 285.

In other news, my parts will arrive tomorrow and will have them installed next week along with my set of RCI skids and sliders. Super excited!

I have a similar setup, except I'm running 327/701's in the rear... Honestly I don't feel like the front yielded anywhere near 2.75", maybe closer to 2-2.25"? Then again maybe it's just a visual trick because I'm still on 265s and stock TRD-OR wheels.

It should be noted that I have a second battery, aluminum IFS/trans/t-case skids, and a handful of lbs of lights/electrical stuff further adding weight to the front; on the rear I probably carry just shy of 200lbs (rear storage/Front Runner boxes/fridge; steel roof rack; etc) in "daily" mode, and probably 300+lbs for camping/trips.

I'll definitely be going up to 302 (maybe 314?) when I do a slimline front bumper and synthetic rope winch; and if doing it again, probably would have gone with 325s in the rear (or maybe I just really need to get a steel rear bumper w/ swingouts to add more weight )

I went from the 300 to the 314 without a bumper or anything else, and I love it!!!

Been considering UCAs with my planned 2" lift but Ill probably wait till I go 2.5+
