I've not seen that before, but it looks like that cross member for your gas tank skid will need to be modified (aka cut down) to gain more driveshaft clearance.

Otherwise I've never seen the driveshaft contact anything with the LT setup.

I just read there could be some issue, with installing the added weight capable lift prior to adding the weight. Waiting for a custom bumper/winch 220+lbs to be delivered, but went forward with my lift install this weekend - C59-352's and GS59-574's. Also did the diff lift and the swaybar relocate. Any concerns other than a stiff ride?

Also did the rear with a standard weight 2.5", not sure about the Panhard Rod adjustment, but all went together well.

The front would be pretty darn tall then without the added weight. What's the new hub to fender measurements now? Probably 24-24.5" up front if I had to guess.

I upgraded from Billstein 5100s to Dobinsons last week (314 coils) and got to test them out over the weekend. I'm absolutely in love. Mike, thank you for such a quick ship on them and for a website that really helps figure out exactly what setup you need.
Hopefully I'll be upgrading the rears soon now that my OVS drawer is also shipping out! Yay! Exit Offroad is bad for my wallet. :D

That's great to hear!! I always love hearing when someone changes out from an old suspension to something new and really can then appreciate the difference!!

That OVS drawer is gonna be awesome!! I can't believe how many people have been ordering those too.

It's the perfect size for the back of the 4runner, based on the dimensions OVS has provided. It should fit snug up against my Setpower fridge/slide. I looked at a lot of them and that one just ticked all the boxes. I appreciated your quick update on the expected shipping time back when we ordered it. A lot of companies don't offer that kind of customer service and it's much appreciated. :)

Rear Coil question

As of now, I have the bilstein 5100s all the way around with rear dobinson coils on my '22 4R. Setup is 1.75 up front, and supposedly 1" in the rear with my 599's but it's definitely giving me more. I have some pretty hefty rake. I recently purchased front 302's as 1.75 wasn't enough for my liking. My issue is the rear coils. I've been doing endless research in threads and on the dobinsons site and am finding conflicting information. In the forum's I'm reading that 505's are 1.5 inch coils and 599's are 1-1.25 inch coils. The dobinsons site shows 505's being 2 inch coils and 599's being 1.5" coils for 5th gens.

All that being said, Mike, do you have some insight? Trying to avoid purchasing new rear coils if the 599's are actually 1.5".

Ive been reading through all the posts here and others and have learned so much about these setups. I have a 2022 SR5P with third row seats. I’m looking to setup 300/599 to get 1.8-2” front and 1-1.25 rear combined wit IMS or MRA. Can i use the 574/575 (long travel) with only 2”lift? Just in case i decide to go higher in the future? Debating between 700s vs 574s. Is there a disadvantage in using the 574s with low lifts? And also debating bet ims vs mra. Car is used mostly to haul family of 5. Lots of long drives on freeways and windy road up the mountain. Usually with lots of gears for camping/vacation. Windy roads are scary with stock shocks. Definitely want to get rid of the bodyroll. So far very minor off road. Long rutted dirt roads or gravel roads(about 20mi). Please advise. Woulld mra be overkill? I like idea of being able to adjust. I know it would be great for offroad, but would MRA be useful in adjusting from comfortable freeway ride to firmer for windy road? Thanks all

MRA would be overkill for what you're doing with it. Most people don't adjust it on the road unless they're towing.

You can only use long travel rear shocks with long travel rear coils and the minimum height is 3" in the back, so that wouldn't work for you.

You can use the 574 up front as long as there's 2" of lift.

Thanks for the response. Sounds like the IMS is all i need. I’m just worried that i might have a need to dial it in. Would the IMS significantly improve body roll?. Also would the IMS be good for both driving the car solo with no load vs driving it with family and full loaded gears?

Any black Friday specials in the works? Looking at picking up a complete Dobinson's IMS suspension kit soon, UCA's as well.

PM me if so! Thanks!

Any shock and coil upgrade will improve body roll considerably. These vehicles come with very soft coils and shocks from the factory.

People say the IMS rides better with more weight added, and that's common with any suspension. So it won't get worse when loaded or anything like that.
