Crikeymike,
Just to confirm what sroodtuo was asking. You could bottom out the threading on the 574 with a 302 coil and get a 2.5 in lift with out any issues?
Could this damage the coil over at compression or extension?
Have had IMS on since last April. After many trails and being daily driven, she's still riding great.

Stock TRD Pro height was 20.5"-21" or so from hub to fender (a 1" lift). C59-296 is the closest to the TRD pro height with stock weight.Ive been following this for awhile and still undecided on set up. Current set up is the FJ trd pro from years ago, shocks 6112 in front with 600lb springs (not sure of height) and 5160 in rear with stock springs. I like the current height but not sure how much was gained in the front, its a leveled looked.
I purchased replacement bilstein 5160 shocks and will sell locally. Price was really good and saved over $250 plus vs local shops. Previous 5160 shocks lasted 60k miles little more than 5 years.
Plan is to buy rear shocks IMS now and in the future purchase front shocks and maybe springs. As for shock difference digressive vs progressive shocks , will it matter much? 4runner is 99% on road.
Ride height , stock weight, what would be close to the trd pro height?
front
C59-296 - Stock front end, 1.5" lift
C59-300 - Stock front end, 1.75-2.0" lift
rear
C59-323 - Stock height
C59-599 - 1-1.25" with stock weight
C59-505 - 1.5-1.75" with stock weight

Progressive is softer until it compresses, then it gets firmer (the normal way a shock works). It's considered more comfortable than digressive.
Rear C59-323 are the same as stock TRD Pro height, so jump on those if you don't want to lift it much.
thanks for the input.. think my main concern is the 6112 up front and the dobinsons in the rear for awhile. I'd like to use the 6112 as long as possible till they give out or leak. At that point I'll replace them with dobinsons and new springs too.
Would I be able to reuse the same front springs I have now ?
came across the following info which helps, do think the dobinsons are better suited for daily driving, Im 99% on road.
Progressive Shocks
Progressive shocks mean that the shock is soft at the top of the stroke or at low speed, then as the shock compresses it gets firmer. this could be good for those of you out there that like the soft plush ride on the road. You will feel less on the day to day drive, then when you hit a big bump you will get that firmness as the shock comes closer to bottoming out. This may benefit someone that runs less of a bump stop. In the off-road world I don’t think you will find too many companies offering a Progressive shock.
Digressive Shocks
Digressive shocks are what you will find on products like entry level Bilstein shocks such as the 5100, and the 6112. Icon is also known for running a digressive shock. What digressive means is that you will have a firm ride at the top of the stroke and at low speeds. As your compress the shock and pick up speed, the dampening will soften up thus soaking up those bumps more like that smooth butter. You may feel more of the little stuff at the low speed, but if you plan on bombing down those desert roads you may like the softer feel of the digressive shocks.
Hey Mike- any idea when the IMS 574 shocks will be back in stock?
NEW REAR SPRINGS ALERT!!!
These are due in about a week, but very limited quantities to start with and only made in teal.
C59-849V - 3.0″ – Toyota 4Runner 5th Gen – 2010-2023 – with 1000LBS+ Constant Load Maximum Flex Coils
These are a step above the C59-749V for those maniacs out there who don't care about GVWR and have 1000LBS or more of constant load bolted to the back of their 4Runner at all times!!
Dobinsons C59-849V 3.0" Lift w/1000LBS+ Coil Springs - 4Runner
nope, that's not true. What maniac would be carrying that much weight anyway? These coils already support more weight at a lifted height than gvw is set too, so axles will start cracking and breaking if people don't limit their weight.
Crikeymike I keep hearing that there is a heavier duty rear spring that is about to be released that is heavier than the 749V. Any truth to that?
Guess I was right huh? LOL

The 2wd and 4wd rear heights are the same. 323s in the rear with 1.5"-2" front would set it levelI was going to slightly level out my wife's 2wd SR5 2016. I was wondering if the lift numbers for the rear coils still apply for the 2wd rear end?
The front end seems to have different lift numbers because of the lack of 4wd components up front. I was looking at these two springs for the rear C59-323 / C59-599. Just wasn't sure which one would give me a level lift without any weight. It's purely stock setup right now and no plans to add anything. I would reuse my springs from my FJ cruiser but they're 675Vs so they'd be over kill for her setup. Reusing my fox 2.0s with DSC for the rears shocks.
