I see on the picture, you have yellow fog lights,is is stock with just the film on it or those are LED ones as for 5th gen runners?

Thank you. These are the Baja Designs Squadrons. They don't actually make a kit for our 4th gens, so you have to buy this in addition to the lights Ford/Toyota, F-150, Tundra, Tacoma Fog Light Kit which is almost plug and play. All you have to do is drill one extra hole in the bumper and install the harness to the factory harness in reverse.

Just added the latest rear Dobinsons coil to the lineup.

C59-749V - 3" Lift, Variable Rate, long travel, suits 750-900 LB super heavy constant rear load. You can ONLY run these if you carry at least 750LBS of rear constant weight at all times, or the vehicle will be over lifted and not ride correctly. The more accessories and parts that are being made for 4Runners these days, the heavier the coils have to keep getting!!

520/520mm free height, 18mm wire diameter, 198-300LB variable rate, usually around 270LB at loaded height

Made in teal, black and red powder coat. You can choose when ordering, it's the same price.

Dobinsons C59-749V Rear Extremely HD Long Travel Coil Springs for 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, GX470, GX460

As far as I can tell, these are now the strongest true 3" variable rate coil available on the market for the 120/150 platform, and these are now the 4th option in the rear variable rate long travel coils Dobinsons has. All of them are listed in post #1 of this thread.

I recently started to hear some squeaking from my rear passenger side wheel well area. Pretty sure it's from the suspension rubber bushings. Does it mean that the top bolt is on too tight?

Not necessarily. Too loose would mean it has room to move around. Too tight, it wouldn't really budge so shouldn't make noise.

It's not normal for rubber to make any noise to be honest. Be sure to check the top and bottom mounts that they're properly tight.

#1 problem with rear shock installation is if the centering washer isn't in place right and the top nut isn't tightened down properly, then with enough flexing, the stud of the shock manages to touch the mount on the frame, metal on metal.

I put the top bolt on tight so there shouldn’t be any movement. I noticed the noise this morning when I would go through some bumps in the road. It’s not a loud squeaking noise but definitely coming from that area. Could it be from the shock itself or rear coil then? I’ve ruled out the shock bushings.

Yes, it could be the shock (possibly damanged) or the coil (not seated right, excessive movement). You'd have to take the shock off to isolate if it's that.

It's possible for coils to get junk trapped on the lower spring set below the coil, causing metal on metal contact. That might be something to check out, depending where you live and what sort of stuff you've been driving thru.

Hey Mike,

I am currently running c59-350 springs with GS59-220 struts. I have a steel front bumper with winch on my 2008 v8 4wd. I am going to be moving back to a factory front bumper with a low pro bumper and winch which should drop my front end weight a bit. Sitting next to other 4Runners with 3" lifts I feel mine currently sits a tad lower than others at 3" but at the same time feel the 350s are quite stiff. I am looking at going to the 314 or 302 when I move to the lighter set up. Can you give me some advice or input on which spring you would go with?

Im also running JBA UCA.
