Does a 2004 SR5 stock radio fit in a 2007 Sport 4Runner?

if they are both JBL, will work
If they are both non JBL, will work
If one is JBL and one is not, it won't work

At least I think that is true.

[MENTION=5374]sparky[/MENTION] - thanks for your response! I will need to check the manual for the 2007 to see if it's JBL or not. My 2004 was a non-JBL. Did not know it made a difference whether both systems were JBL compatible or not

From my experience...Some have rounded corners on all 4 corners and some only have rounded corners on the top and square at the bottom. I bought a 2007? JBL unit to replace my 2004 JBL and the shapes are different. I've been told it will not fit, but I have not tried it.

it's a $1k nav unit - my truck got totaled so i wasn't trying to let insurance keep that along with two amps, a subwoofer, and my rear cam. just emptied everything out aftermarket so i'm just waiting to agree on a price for settlement check then i'll turn the truck in!
