Does anyone have Westin Ultimate Bull Bar/Grille Guard installed?

I am interested in the chrome model. Wondering what that easy modificatioin that costs $10 at HD is to make it fit on the 3rd generation Runner.
I can't find the answer on the burtman industries site.

Also, are you happy with it? Does it need to be taken off to perform basic maintenance like changing oil?

i have the full brushgaurd. you dont need to remove it ever for maint. what is the $10 mod at HD you are referring to?

Apparently, Westin doesn't make a bull guard for 2001

so, burtman industries sells a Tacoma bull guard with skidplate which will fit with some $10 modification.
I am trying to figure out what that would be.

I had that Westin from Burtman. I don't have the fat lip bumper like you do. I never had to remove it for maintenance. The "mod" you have to do is on this link. The pipe used is simply there to accomodate the fat lip by adding the pipe and longer bolt.

I had the bar but took it off when someone dinged my bumper and now I have the TJM 15. I was very satisfied with it before that.
