Greetings:

Does anyone know where I can buy 3M protective transparent cover sheet for hood, headlight, outside rear view mirror, and under door handle for 2004 4Runner sport edition?

you can order the kits or find installers in your area from the site....i have the kit on my '02 for over a year now and couldnt be happier!! The film is still clear and hasnt yellowed at all.

Thanks for the info. Is it difficult to install the Headlight, Fog ligt, Signal light kit? I go the web site and didn't see any install instruction.

I just recieved an installation video from X-pel. Just give your name and address on their website and they'll send it to you free.

Install doesn't look too difficult at all. Just follow the instructions and take your time. The guy in the video installed headlight and fog light covers on an M3 in 5min for one side.

03RoadRunner installed some on his 4th gen.

Do it on a warm day. That's talking from expeience. A hairdryer really doesn't cut it.

Also, I had to trim a little excess shield from the headlights. Remember sticking a 2 dimensional sheet around something thats 3 dimensional is a bit tricky.

I wouldn't do the fogs or drls again, because of moisture, dirt and grit getting around the periminter of the lenses. I know the average joe couldn't see them, but I sure could.
