Does my 2005 SR5 has an alarm

Hi, how do I know is my cars has an alarm. It has the remote to open and close the doors. But I am not sure it has an alarm. Can any body tell me if it has a factory alarm. And if not, what is the best alarm for my car? THANKS!

My SR5 has an aftermarket installed after port, there is a red flashing button installed just under to the left of the steering column. Do you have a panic button on your key FOB?

To test if you have the factory alarm that's standard on the Limited, roll down a window, lock all the doors (either by the remote or through the master switch on the door), wait about 30 seconds, reach in, unlock and open the door. The horn should honk and lights will flash (same effect as pressing the 'panic' button) if you have the factory alarm.

Good aftermarket alarms would be Viper or Clifford (now owned by DEI).
