Does this look weird?

I was diving in to replace my ball joint because of a tear and I'm wondering if these angles look wrong or if this is normal. It seems like both ball joints are under some stress at this strange angle. If this isn't normal, I am guessing this is due to the fact that I installed a 3" lift (spacers) without new upper control arms.

I understand driving on a 3" lift without adjusted UPC's makes the drive a little sketchy, but i've gotten used to it. Is there other adverse affects to not upgrading my UPC's?

The top one looks like the boot is leaking grease. I used to run stock LCA for a while on a 3" lift. But the UBJ didn't last long. The angle is to much for stock.

I don't remember how mine looked. But switching to uniball has been awesome.

You can run stock UBJ as long as you keep an eye on it. But upgrading it will be much less of a hassle and less stress

Yeah..that's how I noticed the angle - I was going in to replace the ball joint because of the leak.

So in your experience, it did add stress on the UBJ's?
