Does this sound like a belt tensioner going bad?

I know this is a 4Runner site but this site has a lot more traffic than the Jeep Liberty forums and need some quick input. If this is something I can take care of myself I'll grab the parts tomorrow morning and change them out. If not I'll have to take it to the shop on Monday.

This is for my wife's Jeep Liberty and as you can see by the title I think her serpentine belt tensioner pulley is going bad. Have a look at the video and tell me what you think.

It's a 2004 with a 3.7L V6 and about 98k on it right now. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

Alternator. Too much thunking for a small tensioner. Remove the sepentine belt and rotate pullies by hand, that should help you out.
The alternator is very easy on that engine. I usually go with the remanufactured NAPA units.

Loosened the belt and it actually seems to be the A/C compressor. That sucks. If I had more time I'd try to just change the bearing but I don't. It'll be going to the mechanic in the morning.
