We have a toy Aussie. She is 2.5 years old and absolutely precious. She is a blue merle and weights 18 lbs. Sheds like crazy in the summer but not as bad as a full sized one. Beautiful blue eyes. Hope you get many years of companionship from her.

Yeah, post a picture! This is our first Aussie, but she is near perfect! She's already 9 pounds at 10 weeks, so she will probably be a bit bigger than that, but we really don't care either way.

Sloan just got a bath tonight, she looks like a little fur ball!

Yep, she was born October 10th. She was awfully little when we got her.

Yeah, that's a bit too little to be taken from the mom. I'm surprised they let you have her. It's actually illegal in a lot of states to sell/adopt a puppy earlier than 8 weeks.

I thought so too, but she has done great! Heck she was even fixed on the day we brought her home which I thought was really early!

Latest pic update, just a day shy of 3 months. She's still doing fantastic and learning new stuff every day. She's officially potty trained I believe and she now rings her bell in the kitchen when she needs to go out. She's figured out the stairs to upstairs, but not from the main level to the family room level quite yet, which is where she goes out. Having a split level with 4 levels is challenging training a puppy! But, she's well on her way to getting all the stairs figured out.

She is pretty sweet, for sure. The giraffe is hollow and has a water bottle in the middle, she really likes it! But, her favorite toy is one she stole from the cat, it's a mouse where you pull the tail and it vibrates. It drives her nuts, she's always running around with it shaking the crap out of it.

She goes in for some shots tomorrow, so we'll see how much she's grown, I think when we got her she was 5 pounds, and last visit she was almost 9. I would guess she's pushing 15 now, but haven't weighed her.

Too funny! Alex has one of those kinds that you put the empty water bottle in. He loves that thing. He'll take just the bottle and crunch it forever.

She's so stinking soft, you can't help but to just rub her belly! She got a bath yesterday too, so she's extra soft and extra fluffy. She's just a big ball of fluff.

She weighed in at 16.6 pounds last week at 3 months. The Vet said you normally double their weight at 4 months to know how big they'll be. So, she might be bigger than we thought initially. She has pretty big paws, so who knows.

I'm so jealous. I love my parents Aussie, but we can't have a dog unless it's hypoallergenic because of my Fiance and her mom's allergies. I hate little dogs, so I've been pretty reluctant to get one. She's beautiful though and I'm glad she is doing so well.

Thanks. That's too bad about the allergies, it stinks to not be able to have a dog.

This is our first Aussie, I had two Huskies prior to this. I can't get over how good she is, best puppy I've ever been around and smartest too. She learns stuff pretty much immediately.

Just a quick update on my baby! She's now 4-1/2 months old and is about 26 pounds or so, so getting pretty big. She continues to be the best damned puppy ever, just unreal. Never gets into anything, completely house trained, stays in the yard, loves playing with the kids, just an absolute joy to have around.

Anyway, we got a TON of snow here in KC the last week or so, so she's been having a blast out in it! Here is a quick pic of her and my daughter Claire.
