Dome light and rear window 89 4Runner

I have an 89 4Runner. My dome light comes on when my passenger door opens but not when my driver door opens. Any ideas? Also I just put new glass in the back window and it goes up and down but it is slow and is starting to be offline a little bit. The left side hits the top first and makes it crooked. Any ideas?

Check the door jamb switch on the drivers side, it may be sticking.
Redo the rear glass install.

Switch isn't sticking. On rear glass what should I change? Add some liquid grease to track?

You've got trouble with the drivers side door jamb switch or wiring. It's not insanely hard to pull the switch and look at it, you just need to reach up inside the kick panel. The plug on the back may have just come loose, or the contact could be worn out.

You could try graphite or silicone spray in the rear window tracks, but if the old glass wasn't crooked and slow to raise, that's likely not the problem.
