Dom’s build thread

Well I was hoping this would work out better in real life then it did in my head. I made this bracket to raise the sway bar on the kdss 4runner where it attaches to lower a arm. It works 75% lol. I mean it helps the bushing not being all binded up at ride height if you have a lift or when it droops out. But it’s limiting the steering. Can get to full lock because the tie rod ends will crash into it.

Ok time to figure something else out. [emoji35][emoji2959].

Which stuff are you talking about. But yeah that’s the plan. The shock guards are from fjtoyman on insta. He’s on here too I believe. But kdss blocks send me a private message. We have those.

Heads up I’m going to be finalizing the kdss on off switch here soon. Been testing it for the last 4500 miles. It works like a charm. I literally am in the soft setting 98% of the time. The only time I might put it on hard mode is when coming down a windy road like big bear and want to come down really fast. Other then that, soft mode is where it’s at. Especially around town.

Seeing that a lot of the members here are into the China trd pro front conversion. A lot of members not going to be ready for this lol. USA made. Manufactured in SoCal

Mold was made from factory Oem garnish. Yes it’s real carbon fiber.

cf is a nice touch .. what is the price ?

Very nice work! Do you still work with any offroad teams? I worked for RG in 2014-15.

I don’t at the moment. Just trying to have fun and explore now. The race seen gets old quick. But still fun to watch. Just not fun to be a part of it unless you are the actual driver or co driver.

Hasn’t been set yet but not cheap at all. This is a USA made product. Mold was made from Oem garnish that cost $500+ from dealer.

I’m pretty sure we are going to sell it for less then that. I think they will be about $400-450 and I can get the factory grill part on top for about $190.

Just remember. Carbon fiber. USA made from Toyota Oem garnish as the mold.

Close up. I had it also wrapped in a matte clear. I thought I wanted it matte clear but after I got it , it takes away from the carbon fiber. I think I’ll keep it gloss.
