I have to agree with the O.P to some extent.
I would agree with the agreeable agreement with the O.P., agreeably.
:humble:
Seriously, though, I see this as two issues:
1. Lack of communication
2. "Supposed" implication that the guy is dishonest or something similiar.
I'd agree that there's been a lack of communication....I mean, there HAS been.
NOW...do I agree with #2? No, because if it truly IS a small business, there's NO telling what may have happened. I once stiffed a guy (for MONEY get your mind out of the gutter

) for almost 2 months unintentionally because I forgot to send the shipment.
HOWEVER...the reason I forgot to send it was because
a) my brother hung himself
b) my wife was in the hospital for a month
c) AAAND my father had a double bypass surgery.
Did that make me dishonest? No....just a forgetful S.O.B. due to some ridiculously terrible circumstances. Once I remembered, I called to make sure he still wanted it, sent the package along with some other stuff, and refunded all of his shipping and other costs.
I've bought from MUCH bigger businesses than this and have waited longer; so I don't see it as outside the realm of possibility. However, at the same time, the O.P. DOES have a right to expect timely completion, or at least contact to let him know "Hey bub, this is what's going on...it may be a few."
