Door lock actuator failure after recent replacement

I had my left front door lock actuator replaced at the local Toyota dealership a little over a year ago. It has failed once again, just been over a year. Does Toyota have a warranty for this part? Is it typical for them to fail so soon after replacement? Having it done at the dealership was costly and it should be expected to last over a year.

Wondering if this is something that would be covered by an extended warranty as I am having an issue with my rear driver side door not auto locking or unlocking.
