Door lock problem--fix in last post

I got locked out of my '97. All the doors will lock using the fob or with the key in the door but won't unlock with the fob and the key will not turn counter-clockwise to unlock the doors. It will turn clockwise to lock. There is no sound from the actuators when I try to unlock using the fob, although the light on the fob is on. I've tried this in both doors and the hatch locks and they're all the same-it's like something-the actuators?-are preventing the key from turning, but I wouldn't think all three would go out at the same time. Could the body control module cause this?

Can't speak to the FOB, as I don't know what system you have, only familiar with the 99+ factory setup.
The key issue is probably a key issue, either worn out or a bad cut, try the spare, copy whichever key works best. Could be sticky lock cylinders, spray them down with lube and do the jiggle with the key to free it up.

My stock key was badly worn, would only work on one door. I was fearing that the previous owner/seller had swapped one or two lock cylinders but not all of them, but had Toyota cut a new key off the VIN and blessed be, the key now works for everything.

Lubed all the locks and tried both keys. Same as before, they'll turn to lock but not to unlock. Both keys would unlock the doors prior to this, so I don't think it's key related. All the door locks open and close easily using the knobs on the doors. I can hear a faint click from the relay box attached to the fuse box, so I think that may be the issue but I'm open to other suggestions.

Update: Fixed

I replaced the module attached to the fuse box on the lower left of the dash and that fixed it.
