Plus for $99 from toytec, it would be hard to beat that for materials and the work involved. I don't even know what a Bridgeport is, but I'm guessing it's what cuts the groove down the middle.
 
Ok, I figured that's what it was. I don't know how toytec even makes any $$ on those. I would think the bar stock would be at least $50 alone.

Ya it is one of those things that it is best to just fork over the cash for the finished product rather than spending the time and money for R&D.
 
i will side with Brian on not knowing what a bridgeport is on this one. Speaking of Brain, can you please come down to the beach area and get all this cold then take it back up the the mountains?
$99, sign me up in about 2weeks, I am going to get me some of those puppies.

Shoot I was hoping that Brian would send the snow clouds down this way.:party:

I am not sure if they are the same for an 04 runner I think the lower links are different. You will have to verify with toytec if they have skids for the 4th gen links.

It's fricken cold up here right now so a little more won't hurt moto. You can definitely take some snow clouds Jay, we have some to spare. The news said it's supposed to get down to 14* at my house tonight. Yay.

as for the CB antenna tuning my CB has the built in SWR meter/tuning ability. as for a mounting spot I'm not convinced that there is a good spot without offroad bumpers.

this got me thinking so I just went down to the garage and measured the rear LCA bars. They are 24.75" from weld to weld(not bolt to bolt) and 34mm in dia. I wonder, are yours the same size or are the 4th gens different. Toytec want $99 for 3rd gen and $149 for the 4th gens. Heck, if I can get away with the 3rd's, Im all in.
