A good alternative I've found to using actual hard mounted racks is using these Nite Ize gear lines. I use 2, one connected to the rear cargo hooks and one connected to the grab handles in the back seat. Probably not as easy to get the rods in and out compared to the actual racks but its worked great for me. Able to hold 5-6 rods + other gear when your not using them for rods.
