Driving lights upgrade question

Can I simply replace the orange bulbs with a clear bulb or another color and that's it or is there something else I'm missing? Sorry I just can't deal with that orange anymore.

Has anybody replaced them? Please post pics of possible.

Thanks

Don't see it as an "upgrade" myself, but if by "running lights" you're referring to replacing the amber 1156NA bulbs of either the front turn signal or daytime running lights with clear 1156 bulbs, your Owner's Manual gives instructions.

doubt it...

those "driving lights" are your turn signals....
As far as "doubt it", the California Vehicle Code allows the clear bulb for the front turn signal. The OP appears to be in California.

V C Section 24953 Turn Signal Lamps

Turn Signal Lamps

24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.

Sorry for the miscommunication I do mean the daytime running lights. Has anyone replaced these to a clear light or any other light other than the OEM amber bulb?

Thanks again.

No miscommunication, you were perfectly clear before. Your orange/amber lights double as both your DRL & your turn signals. Rather annoying to us in states that require amber as your turn signals considering we do have 'parking lights' which really should be the turn signals.

Yes, others have replaced them with the white/clear you mentioned. The bulb size is in your owners manual.

I did a search and this is what I found here. These will be white as DRLs but when you signal right/left they will blink amber. I read some reviews with concerns about the brightness of the ambers though.

These won't work without modification. Are turn signals up front are only a single stage light, either on or off. I guess a better way to put it is they are a single filament bulb.

But I wouldn't mind seeing someone get these to work.
