DRL Not working all the time

I have a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5 that seems to have developed an issue lately with the DRL lights, they seem to be sporadic as far as turning on, sometimes they turn on, sometimes they don't. Only seems to have started up a few days ago.

Suggestions?

On the 3rd gen, the DRLs are off while the parking brake is applied. When the PB is released, the DRLs come on. They will stay on till the vehicle is turned off and a door is opened.

Does the 4th gen operate the same?
If so, maybe the PB sensor is sticking on sometimes.
