how do i get the salt off properly?

I was in Miami Beach on saturday morning early, and do to the the high tide, moon and storm surge, the streets were completely flooded in some areas. I washed the truck when i got home and rinsed the engine bay and underbody areas as best as possible. Is there anything else i can do to get any leftover salt off??

Nope. Drive through somewhere else that only has rainwater. I live in an area that salts the roads for winter. They dump a LOT of salt here. I don't worry a bit. I do however drive it through a car wash that has the underbody sprays about once a week though in winter.

Been there - Done that. Including once actually getting stuck in the Atlantic when the tide came in. I was with a girl so of course it was worth it. Nothing you can do but Rinse Rinse Rinse with fresh water. Go it a self wash with a big pile of quarters.

You could park on top of a oscillating sprinkler. Then just move the sprinkler until you have done the entire underside. Then repeat.

once a week in winter i go to a touchless car wash with underbody spray to help get as much salt/sand off the bottom as possible.

sometimes i'll go twice a week if i do alot of driving.
