Drummer's Adventure Thread

Took a family trip out to the Outer Banks and stayed in Corolla. Had to stop by our alma mater, East Carolina, since that's where it all started for us. Finally had a chance to take the truck out into the sand a bit. Parked where I shouldn't have for some nice pics. Was worth it.

What no horses?

we were there labor day weekend right after hermine, the 4wd beach in corolla was almost empty and the horses were awesome. The beach there is super cake to drive on compared to some others makes for an enjoyable ride

Absolutely man. Loved driving it. Wish I could have driven it more but we had other stuff going on and a little one to tend to.

Cash has been spent.

Old girl will have some bigger shoes this time next week (plus some other things, like leds in the bumper, metal tech link skids installed, and a shorter exhaust pipe).

Cannot wait.

The re-gear is pricey, but was one of my best mods. The low speed crawling is great. I went to 4.56, if I could do it again I would have gone to 4.88

Man....you certainly did get right to it with the wheeling back then!! Congrats on the new ride and adventures. Love seeing the adventure threads. Helps me to decide where to go myself.

Thanks! I knew going into the purchase that I'd be getting it dirty, and I think keeping it on pavement any more than I do now would be a waste.

You make a good point about ECGS being close. I'm in Charlotte too and dream of a day trip to get regeared and ARB lockers. Maybe I can pull it off towards the end of the year

I think this pic illustrates everything we knocked out yesterday. 295s, trimmed the exhaust tip (which was crushed) back, and added LEDs to the bumper (wired directly into the reverse lights).
